Parade of Hearts 2024

In 2024 I designed and completed a heart tittled 'Communal Pinata'. The design represents a connection to the Heartland. In particular the Hispanic/Latinx community. As a local Hispanic/Latinx artist I felt it wsa important to take up space and celebrate our roots here. It includes pan dulces, a Piñata, things that bring so many of us together with positive aspirations. My hope for this heart to create a deeper connection between people here in Kansas City by highlighting a commonality and sharing the beauty of cultural awareness.
